SunRay saunas are crafted exclusively from premium-grade Canadian Red Cedar or Hemlock wood. The cold Canadian climate causes slow wood growth, resulting in exceptional strength, stability, and resistance to corrosion. Our saunas feature laser-cut tongue and groove panels for unmatched strength and durability. Each sauna is seal-coated on the exterior for long-lasting appeal, while the interior is sanded for a smooth, relaxing finish. Only non-toxic materials are used to seal and coat our saunas, ensuring a safe, natural experience.
SunRay Saunas is a top manufacturer of high-quality infrared and traditional saunas in the United States. Our saunas are carefully designed and engineered for years of reliable service, and we take pride in offering exceptional quality at affordable prices. Each SunRay sauna features tongue and groove panels for exceptional strength and easy assembly. Our manufacturing facility adheres to ISO-9001 quality control standards to ensure every sauna meets consistent, high-quality benchmarks. SunRay saunas are recognized internationally for safety and professional craftsmanship, carrying certifications like CE, CETL, ETL, and RoHS.
SunRay utilizes advanced FAR infrared heating technology. Our carbon nano heaters are wire-free; instead, we apply an optimal thickness of ultra-conductive carbon to an epoxy resin panel, which is activated by positive and negative copper strips on each side. The laminated epoxy resin panel results in ultra-low EMF levels, ideal for continuous use.
Our FAR infrared panels emit 5.6-15 micron rays that closely match the natural human spectrum. These rays are easily absorbed by body tissues and muscles, promoting enhanced stress relief and improved blood flow.
SunRay Saunas carry a comprehensive 7-year structural warranty against defects in materials and workmanship ensuring you are receiving one of the highest quality saunas made.
If your sauna becomes inoperable or has a defect in workmanship we will either repair or replace the sauna at no charge to you. With our best in class warranty you can rest assured you will be able to enjoy all the benefits your SunRay sauna has to offer for years to come.
Outdoor traditional saunas are equipped with an air vent in the ceiling. This air vent is designed to help circulate heat throughout the sauna during the heat up phase and to allow moisture to leave the sauna if you are adding humidity and using it as a steam sauna.
The maximum operating temperature of the outdoor sauna is 170 degrees Fahrenheit. The normal operating range is 160-170 degrees Fahrenheit but will vary based on the outside temperature and other factors such as the placement location and exposure to the sun.
The average heating time for traditional outdoor home saunas ranges between 30-45 minutes depending on the outside temperature, outdoor location, and the size of the sauna.
Our outdoor traditional saunas come with heater stones that set on top of the heater elements. The heater stones are used to help radiate heat throughout the sauna and can be used to create humidity inside the sauna. DO NOT pour excess water on the heater stones as it will cause damage to the heater. To create humidity in the sauna, simply drizzle a small amount of water over the stones once they are hot.
All outdoor traditional saunas have a cradle for the heater to sit it. DO NOT place the sauna heater directly on the floor as it could become a fire hazard. The outdoor sauna heater must be elevated off the floor to create air flow through the heating elements.
All outdoor saunas are shipped via truck freight with curbside and lift-gate delivery service unless otherwise specified. Our traditional saunas and steam saunas are shipped on a wooden pallet with removable bracing to protect the sauna boxes. Please contact us if you have special requirements for delivery. The trucking company will call you to schedule a delivery appointment.
Outdoor traditional saunas come with a power cord that is attached to the heater. The power cord does not have a plug on the end. It is designed to be hard-wired into a junction box or you can put a plug on the end of the power cord. Please note that the power requirements differ by sauna model. Consult your outdoor sauna user manual for the specific power requirements.
All outdoor sauna cabins are easily assembled by two adults. The typical assembly time is 1 hour. No special tools are required for the outdoor sauna to be assembled.
Your outdoor home sauna should be cleaned a minimum of every 3-4 months or more frequently depending on usage. To clean the interior of your home sauna, use a mixture of baking soda and water (3 teaspoons baking soda to 1 gallon of warm water). Using a clean towel, wipe down the interior of the sauna focusing on where sweat accumulates. Let the area dry with the sauna door open. Use a standard ammonia-based glass cleaner to clean the sauna doors and windows.
